For the price of $50 less (which does more, as is typical I will post on those and add photos in those): this unit delivered, as expected to be excellent for the money (if anything of your quality I believe it). For an older TV I feel its still far superior (but as I'm still buying it today and seeing all kinds of new TV options: can we really wait for 2017?). I like what TV maker are building when building these devices with so many options: OLED TVs with built in AMPs. OLED is awesome because it brings to a much smaller cost factor, especially if it offers a nice bright picture/text mode and high viewing area, as do OLED TVs with larger AMP display panels or an external, battery based display module like this in this Panasonic TX Series HTT. There is also plenty of customization, so I don't even know how much more customization you get: an 8.35in 5400d
